Summary

The hoard comprised a strongbox full of sestertii dating from Vespasian to Commodus, with a number of examples of Antoninus Pius, Faustina I and II and Lucilla. They were found in a well. The majority of the coins were melted down to make candlesticks and the Abbot, Carlier kept 80 for his collection.
