Summary

The hoard was found in an inhumation burial and comprised two gold plaques with filigree and beaded decoration, four gold finger rings and 38 gold rings. With the exception of a 'solidus' of Valentinian I (RIC IX, Arles 1), a tremissis of Anstasius (SAB. 5) and a solidus of Justinian with a VICTORIA AVGGG reverse type (mintmark */COMOB), everything was melted down.
