Ring of opaque black glass
The oblong shape is accentuated by the greater thickness of the glass at the ends. The bubbles and traces on the surface of the glass confirm its antiquity.
The size of the ring is too small to have been worn as an adult ring. Too small also to have served as a closure system to a textile bag that could have contained the hoard.
